1366
Elster’s Children: [Module: Doom of Daggerdale]
At the Yawning Portal Inn Tiber, Laud, Nera, and Galba (calling themselves Gold Company) heard there was danger in the Dalelands so they traveled to Daggerdale. On the road, they met the human fighter-rogue Randal Morn, who warned them about the “Dream Fever” in Daggerfalls and asked them to help remove the Zhentarim from power.

In town, Gold Co destroyed 2 nightshades, killed the evil constable with his messengers, and took out the enemies at the mage lord’s crype; Nera and Tiber were killed, but Laud and Galba freed the hostages. They paid the druids to reincarnate Nera (who came back as a human) and Tiber (who returned as an elf).

Elster’s Children: [Module: Beneath the Twisted Tower]
The druids of Shadowdale asked Gold Co to clear out some monsters in a cavern beneath the city. The team killed 2 aberrations, 2 quaggoths, 4 large spiders, some orcs, and evil dwarf, a water elemental, some dire rats, 10 drow, a gelatinous cube, 4 kuo-toa warriors, a kuo-toa priest, and 8 mongrelfolk; Nera and Galba were killed while Tiber and Laud were captured by the final drow mage and taken as slaves. While Laud was put to work doing manual labor, Tiber enjoyed his time as a sex slave (imprenating 5 different women). After the children were all born male, a drow woman took pity on TIber; she gave him his children and his brother and sent them back to the surface. They made it back to Waterdeep, where they asked the family to help raise the children.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Marco Volo 1 Departure]
Tiber and Laud received invitations to a party at one of Waterdeep’s pleasure houses. They met the human bard Marco Volo, who was soon arrested by town guards (causing a brawl to erupt as he escaped); when Tiber and Laud defended themselves, they were arrested and taken to cells in Castle Waterdeep. The charges were dropped 2 days later and they were taken to the Wands Estate, where the leader of the family offered to pay them each 1500 gp to make a deal  in Shadowdale (to protect Marcus “Marco Volo” Wands). They retrieved Marco from a shady inn.

Felibarr Blacklance (the human mercenary wizard) and a dozen of his sellswords found and captured Tiber, Laud, and Marco until the city guard showed up and ran off the enemies. They decided to hire 2 clerics to help them (Sara and Donna). The team fought off a group of bounty hunters. Another evil team from Felibarr ambushed them and took them prisoner (again).

Elster’s Children: [Module: Marco Volo 2 Journey]
At night, Gold Co escaped and fled to a nearby monk monastery, where they assumed they would be safe. While they slept, the monks tried to kill them. The clerics died; Tiber, Laud, and Marco fled in the night. While traveling, they befriended a group of gnolls. Marcus confessed his identity and how he gets confused with Volothamp Geddarm. Once in Cormyr, they joined up with a theatre group. On the road to Shadowdale, they were ambushed by orcs; Felibarr and Voruna (the human cleric of Loviatar) killed everyone except for Tiber and Marcus (who surrendered).

Elster’s Children: [Module: Marco Volo 3 Arrival]
More of Felibarr’s mercenaries showed up and demanded Marcus show them where he hid an evil artifact in the Spiderhaunt Woods. They went to the forest, where monsters killed most of Felibarr’s crew. During the combat, Tiber and Marcus escaped. Felibarr and his drow mage survived and tracked them down. The actual Volo showed up and told Marcus how to defeat the evil eye; he helped them confront the lich Thandraxx and form a temporary alliance.

They accidentally released an 8-legged dragon; the gods Tyr, Sune, and Corellon put the monster in an amulet and gave it to Marcus to protect. Felibarr and his ally rushed in and killed Thandraxx, but were slain by the Tiber and Marcus. They made it to Shadowdale and Marcus gave Tiber a wand of wonder.

Elster’s Children: [Module: The Ruins of Undermountain]
Tiber returned home and decided to hire a group to go with him down into Undermountain as the new Gold Co (3 fighters, 3 clerics, and 3 rogues). Down the well, they killed: rats, bugbears, skeles, evil wizards, and a thief. Spiders and drow killed off the new hires, but Tiber finished off the enemies and rescued a moon elf maiden named Maith Slenderbow. While wandering around an looking for a safe place to rest, they found a secret shrine to Dumathoin with almost 7 million gp worth of gems; they made love and rested. When Tiber woke up, Maith was gone (with the treasure and his adventuring gear).

Hearing screams, Tiber found Maith surrounded by 14 kobolds (who were threatening to eat her); he used his spells to kill the monsters and demanded she return everything. Tiber let her live and brought the treasure to his 2 dads (Elster and G’Nash) so his family would be forever wealthy.

Elster’s Children: [Module: The Ghost Knight]
Tiber hired 10 fighters, 10 clerics, and 4 rogues. They saw a “Ghost Knight” in the streets of Waterdeep that led them to a secret shart/entrance. They killed a mimic and rescued Jhanileth Dhree.

Elster’s Children: [Module: The Eye and the Hand]
Tiber and 5 of his clerics were lured into a trap and almost captured by the beautiful Avaereene, but the rest of the team was nearby and saved them. They killed Avaereene’s mercenary group.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Coils in the Dark & Four from Cormyr]
While exploring Undermountain, Gold Co was gated to a valley and had to kill: 69 yuan-ti with their ice vipers and giant lizards, 20 flying snakes, and a spirit naga. They found lots of treasure and stopped in Cormyr, where they met the Purple Dragon Knights and killed: 2 stone golems, 4 wights, a greater demon, an imp, a lich, and an evil adventuring group. They attended a party, investigated a murder, caught the killers, and hunted down another bad adventuring party. They also had to kill a black dragon and 24 mercenaries. Only Tiber and 3 of the clerics made it home alive.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Undermountain The Lost Level]
Tiber, his 3 clerics, and 5 newly hired fighters researched how to repair an old broken magical gate, fixed it, and went through… they defeated 4 carrion crawlers, found a Dumathoin temple, heard the mad mage Halaster speak to him, killed 3 ettins, destroyed 3 mithril guardians, killed 2 rust monsters, found some awesome magic items, killed 25 crawling claws, found lost dwarf tombs with an armory, killed a behir, dealt with traps, killed killed a frost giant and hill giant, joined the dwarf clan Mealairkyn (transforming them all into dwarves), and met the spectre of the dwarf king.

In the drow prison they killed a 2-headed troll, a will’o’wisp, a manticore, a vampire, a death kiss beholder, an undead beholder, and an elder beholder. Tiber and 2 of the fighters survived to carry the loot back through a working gate to the streets of Waterdeep.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Undermountain Maddgoth’s Castle]
Tiber hired more mercenaries (10 fighters, 10 clerics, 5 rogues) and searched for more secret places in Undermountain; they found a passage under a cavern lake and then found a floating sealed castle. They cleared out the monsters in the castle, included Maddgoth the transmuter; only 4 of the hired help survived. Their treasure included the sentient evil greatsword “The Blade of Twilight Doom,” which caused a hired fighter to turn evil. Tiber used their wish to turn it into a good-aligned sentient sword. When they returned to the surface, Tiber decided to train as a fighter so he could wield the sword himself.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Undermountain Stardock]
With the Yawning Portal Inn always attracting more adventurers, Tiber was able to hire a new team (14 fighters, 3 clerics, 2 rogues, and a wizard) to accompany him back into Undermountain after Khelben Blackstaff suspected Halaster had been either kidnapped or killed (and offered Tiber his own noble title and estate worth over 250,000 gp if he took care of the situation). Blackstaff took the team to Aquitocrum.

Tiber’s team defeated a crimson death mist, a fire lizard, an aurumvorax, 2 grells, a cleric, a 2-headed troll, a mage, 2 gelatinous cubes, 24 sea lions, 5 mimics, 8 umber hulks, 50 bookworms, a human lich, a mindflayer lich, 2 golems, and Aurangaul the mindflayer; in the end only Tiber and 2 fighters survived, but they rescued Halaster and allowed him to return to Undermountain. Tiber appointed the fighters to work at his new home, where he decided to rest for a while.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Sword of the Dales]
Wanting fame and fortune like their half-brother Tiber, Augin the half-human/dwarf rogue (who was married to Durnan’s daughter) and Caligan the dwarf fighter headed out for adventure in the Dales. At the Old Skull Inn in Shadowdale they joined up with Javiel the elf ranger, Mura the human wizard, and Glock the half-orc paladin; Elminster’s scribe Lhaeo hired them to rescue Randal Morn.

In their search, they killed: 6 kobolds, 2 intellect devourers, 6 stirges, and 4 Zhent soldiers. In Shraevyn’s tomb, they defeated: riddles, traps, 18 skeles, a dust devil, a fire snake, a sandling, 4 zombies, and 2 bonebats; Glock died. They found a note saying Randal Morn was in Spiderhaunt.

Elster’s Children: [Module: The Secret of Spiderhaunt]
Continuing their journey to rescue Randal Morn, the team killed: 3 darkenbeasts, 6 mercenaries, 2 Zhent wizards, 16 spiders, and 4 large spiders. They befriended some forest gnomes at the Village of Stormpemhauder. They defended the gnomes from and army of undead. They continued, defeating 2 half-ogres and more undead before they were captured by 8 Zhent wizard with 3 soldiers (who stripped them of their gear and tied them up, letting them know they would be sold into slavery). The tomb spirit Gothyl tricked the Zhents, but one wizard escaped with Randol Morn. The spirit released the team and told them to go save him before it was too late!

Elster’s Children: [Module: The Accursed Tower]
Augin, Caligan, Javiel, and Mura met the human fighter Rafferty Tannerson who told them about his adventure in the Icewind Dale region; he was the only survivor of a party that killed 7 goblins, an ogre, a yeti, 4 orcs, a gnoll, 10 wild dogs, a small flesh golem, 8 skeles, a large spider, a young mimic, a gargoyle, and a crypt thing. He sold his treasure in exchange for safe passage, but got lost on the road. The team invited him to join them.

Elster’s Children: [Module: The Return of Randal Morn]
The team searched for Randal Morn in Dagger Falls (thanks to a tip from Ariton). They killed 12 Zhent soldiers and 12 hobgoblins on the way there. In Dagger Falls, the team was overwhelmed by Zhent soldiers; Javiel died and the others were knocked out. They woke up chained up in an interrogation chamber with Guthbert Golthammer (the Zhent human fighter). Ilthond showed up, yelling at Guthbert. The spirit Gothyl was hiding in the Sword of the Dales and attacked Ilthond while the team broke free and killed Guthbert and the 8 Zhent guards that rushed in. Illthond and Gothyl seemed to destroy each other.

The team looted the place and found evidence orcs were being paid to assault the city. They saved Randal Morn and killed 16 more Zhen soldiers before stealthing their way to the orcs and paying them to turn on the Zhents and kill the 50 nearby Zhent soldiers. The plan worked and the city was finally safe for a while. Each party member was given 50 acres of land, materials to build a house, and a “Freedom Riders” brooch. They had Elminster destroy the Sword of the Dales since it was associated with the evil spriit.

Elster’s Children: [Module: TSR Jam 1999 Vale of the Dragon Oracle]
While their new homes were being built in Dagger Falls, the team recruited human cleric Joss Sunleaf and accepted a quest to investigate missing livestock. They killed: a wyvern, 6 Zhent guards, and 8 dragon cultists before getting to the Chantry of St. Sammaster. There, the team defeated: 5 zombies, 2 mages, 15 guards, a green mantidrake, 13 crawling claws, an evil cleric, and a High Necrophant; Caligan and Joss died, but Mura and Augin ended up with a bunch of magic items and gems/coins worth a lot of money.

They paid to have Caligan and Joss resurrected and then proceeded to the temple of the dragon oracle, where they defeated: a young red dragon zombie, a wight, and a skeletal blue dragon.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Al-Qadim Corsairs of the Great Sea]
Augin, Caligan, Mura, Rafferty, and Joss allowed a traveler to teleport them to the region of Zakhara so they could work as guards for a desert caravan company under the command of Nudar AbdalAmin (a half-elf monk). They easily fended off a group of pirates, healed the camels, survived being poisoned, and killed a group of raiders.

In Hawa, they accepted a mission to rescue 18 missing children. On that trail, they killed 8 banits, 12 cultists, a sorceress, and a soultaker. The children were being sacrificed to a water monster, but the team killed it and 11 more cultists; they were able to save 9 of the kids.

An old beggar woman gave the team a map to trasure on an island. They went there and killed 2 winged serpents, a living statue, and a wizard. After getting the treasure, they killed an evil spy and 32 bandits.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Al-Qadim Golden Voyages]
The team hired a ship and explored the region in search of a rumored great treasure. They defeated pirates, soldiers, slavers, ogres, oni, undead sea monsters, and genies; along the way they rescued the human slave woman/cleric Shajar, who fell in love with Rafferty and joined the team.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Al-Qadim A Dozen & One Adventures]
They fought monsters in a well, stole treasure from an estate, fought undead at a funeral, fought some soldiers and a succubus at some ruins, befriended a hermit, killed the genie Ynadin, rescued a missing woman, fought off a troop of ogres, out-boxed a genie, found a stolen carpet, destroyed a lich (and his minions), and rescued a mage’s 3 daughters.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Al-Qadim Secrets of the Lamp]
The team rescued Hazim the genie, fought through an army of gargoyles and sandmen, and brought the genie to the City of Brass (where they had to kill 13 salamanders on the plane of fire).

Elster’s Children: [Module: Al-Qadim Ruined Kingdoms]
Back in Zakhara, the team: explored the jungle, kileld an invisible stalker, went on a desert pilgrimage (where they had to kill 18 lizardfolk), killed 10 jungle giants, killed a bunch of snakes and zombies at a temple, fought ogg crocodiles, defeated a dragon turtle, and got treasure from some catacombs before defeating an evil priestess.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Al-Qadim Reunion]
They helped free a community of slaves and brought them to their secret desert oasis, defeating 10 centaurs, 5 were-hyenas, 50 raiders, an elemental flame mage, 5 evil clerics, and 18 skeles along the way.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Al-Qadim Assassin Mountain]
The group known as “The Holy Slayers” sent over 50 assassins and warriors after the group. Mura was pregnant with Joss’ child and Sajar was pregnant with Rafferty’s child; both Joss and Rafferty sacrificed themselves so the rest of the team could escape. After resting, the remaining team members hunted down and killed the rest of the assassins.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Al-Qadim Caravans]
With Mura and Sajar pregnant, Augin and Caligan joined them to travel in a caravan. The group was tasked with finding a missing woman, killing 20 lightning genasi, negotiating peace between 2 warring tribes, retrieving treasure from a vault (where they had to kill 5 machinefolk), and defeating an efreeti. They succeeded at all of their tasks.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Al-Qadim Cities of Bone]
Before departing the Zakhara region, the team decided to explore some more tombs. To get the treasure, they had to kill: a bunch of yuan-tis, snakes, skeles, zombies, spectes, lacedons, shadows, were-hyenas, wraiths, ghouls, ghasts, mummies, and necromancers. After the adventure, they paid to be teleported back to their newly built homes in Dagger Falls.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Wyrmskull Throne]
Augin and Caligan heard there were problems with gnolls and werewolves in the Moonsear region. They went and met the “Shields of the Highland” (an all human adventuring party consisting of Roalgan the fighter, Timor the fighter, Karr the fighter, and Vajal the rogue) at the Blue Badgar Inn; they decided to team up after some angry dwarves started a bar fight over a missing scepter.

The dwarf Bapur hired them to find the Wyrmskull Throne. They proceeded to undergo an underwater adventure: exploring a shipwreck, destroying sea zombies, dealing with magical traps, killing a sea hag, freeing merfolk slaves from evil kuo-toa, killing the evil elf and skeles, and ultimately retrieving the Wyrmskull Throne; 2 beholder-kins killed off the “Shields of the Highlands” but Augin and Caligan survived to give the magic artifact back to the dwarves.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Hellgate Keep]
After the explosion at Hellgate Keep, Augin and Caligan decided to go help kill the monsters in the region. They befriended 3 elves (Farir the wizard, Levilil the cleric, and Jasalil the fighter) after rescuing them from angry treants. They elves joined them in exploring the ruins/tunnels. Together, they killed: 22 fiends, 3 spectres, and 2 crypt things; Jasalil died. They went deeper, where they defeated: 1 deepspawn, 7 trolls, and 30 fiends; on their way out they saw druids coming to repair the area.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Dungeon of Death]
Augin, Caligan, Farir, and Levilil were hired by dwarves of the Deepdelve clan to examine an old gem mine and determine if it was worth reclaiming (after the trolls and fiends had taken it over long ago). They killed: 10 mephits, 2 golems, 8 shadows, 37 dretches, 28 manes, 2 rutterkin, 5 barlguras, 2 succubi, 12 dwarf skeles, 8 ghouls, and Viscaris the demon lord.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Sons of Gruumsh]
After resting at the estates in Dagger Falls, the party traveled to the city of Melvaunt and met with Lord Nanther; he hired them to find his missing son Oreal the human ranger and bring him home. On their journey, they defeated: 7 mercenaries, a troll, 2 werewolves, a dire boar, an owlbear, 9 orcs, and a manticore. They ended up at Xul-Jarak “The Gray Citadel” of the Thar orcs, where they killed: a wyvern, 25 orcs, an ogre, 3 orogs, 50 more orcs, 4 demons, 2 drakes, orc Lord Thrull, and an ancient basilisk; they rescued Oreal and his 4 adventuring companions. When they returned to Melvaunt they were greatly rewarded and decided to destroy the Hammer of Gruumsh.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Dungeon Mag 88 “The Door from Everywhere”]
The team was hired to clear out a bandit lair on the Moonsea Ride (the main road northeast of Cormyr). On their way to the Stonelands Ruins, they had to kill a group of orcs with wolves. At the ruins, they killed more orcs and realized the ruins had ancient Netherese portals. They killed: a 2-headed griffon, Lord Gargdol the human fighter, 3 ogres, a basilisk, a giant plant, 12 orcs, an evil human rogue, and a ghost sorceress; they then shut down the portal system, sold their loot, and returned home.

Elster’s Children: [Module: City of the Spider Queen]
When the locals of Dagger Falls complained about drow raids, Randal Morn sent the team to the Dordrien Crypts to investigate. They defeated: Chahir the vampire sorcerer, 2 vamp spawn, 2 celestial dire lions, Lady Quallem the ghost, Maurechi, a roper, 2 bebeliths, 2 spider rangers, 90 drow, 2 huge spiders, 2 driders, a wraith spider, a fiendish gargantuan spider, a nycoloth, an archmage drow, 2 vampire nobles, 2 drider vampires, a powerful drow blackguard, a spectre, and the high priestess of Szith Morcane. They returned home with the loot from clearing the drow city of Szith Morcane.

While sorting through the treasure, the team found a map leading to more dangers in the Underdark. They resupplied and went back down into the “Deep Wasters” to the city of Maerimydra; on the way they killed a troglodyte raiding party and 4 bodaks. They hired the black half-dragon/drow fighter-sorcerer Schumath Daerindra to help guide them. He led them to defeat 4 mindflayers, 12 goblins, 6 ogres, a fire giant, and a vrock demon; Augin, Farir, and Levilil all perished in battle. Schumath brtrayed Caligan while he slept, capturing him and selling him into slavery after stealing his gear.

The half-fiend fire giant Kurgoth had conquered Maerimydra. As a slave, Caligan was rbought to fight in Kurgoth’s coliseum arena; when Caligan survived a bout with 3 ogres, he was offered a position as a solider helping assault the remaining drow and undead at Castle Maerimydra. Caligan led his troops against the dark elf necromancers with their undead and demons; the forces killed one another; only Caligan (in his new demon armor) and the fire giant Ravurr survived the battles. Caligan convinced his new friend Ravurr to challenge Kurgoth for leadership; the killed Kurgoth and took his treasure, along with command of the remaining army. They used the army to defeat the rest of the forces in the area; in the end it was just Caligan and Ravurr fighting to the death against a few remaining ghouls; the ghouls won.

Elster’s Children: [Module: The Twilight Tomb]
Concerned when the men never returned from the Underdark, Mura and Sajar hired a diviner who confirmed that they were all dead. They sold the estates and brought the kids with them to Waterdeep, to be with the rest of the family there. They used a scroll to teleport to Yuirwood to report the death of Farir and Levili to their families. In Yuirwood, the half-elf cleric Dom Wetleaf asked the ladies for help; the evil Mourel Duskwalker had risen again to threaten the forest. Mura, Sajar, and Dom proceeded to defeat: a large water elemental, 8 hobgoblins, a shardcaster, an orc zombie, elf skeles, 4 hobgob zombies, 13 orcs, 3 shadows, a runehound, 2 frost giants, a half-orc warrior, a demon sorcerer, a flameskull, a wight, a deathlock wizard, 3 fiendish scorpions, a juju zombie, 2 vargoulles, a brain in a jar, a girallon zombie, 8 small air elementals, and a darkenbeast; unfortunately only Mura survived to return to Yuirwood and then Waterdeep.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Undermountain II The Deep Levels]
“Troglodyte Warren” - Hired by a group of 7 halfling barbarians as their wizard, Mura went adventuring down in the tunnels of Undermountain. While chasing a group of troglodytes, the team went through a gate. They defeated 15 trogs, a piercer, and a green slime.

“Survival of the Fittest” - The ghost of the paladin Fidelio sent Mura’s team into an obstacle course, where they killed: a beholder, a gelatinous cube, 20 rot grubs, 21 myconids, a rust monster, 2 basilisks, the spriti of Elmontius Menditis, a roper, and 3 salamanders; 2 of the barbarians were petrified, 1 was teleported to be the slave of mindflayers, and 2 more died. Only Mura and 2 halflings survived.

“The Well of Shadows” - While lost in Undermountain, they rested. They had to fight: 9 shadows, a crystal ooze, an ochre jelly, a grey ooze, 12 osquips, and 24 rats; Mura barely made it out alive (as the sole survivor).

“Wyllowwood” - While out for a night’s walk in Waterdeep’s Field of Triumph, Mura found herself teleported to Wyllowwood. She met 5 gnome adventurers that had also been magically teleported there against their will; they joined up and defeated: 5 trolls, 46 skeles, 16 shadows, 45 monster fish, and 3 minotaurs before 3 more minotaurs killed all the gnomes. Not wanting to die, Mura successfully flirted with the minotaur leader and convinced him to accept her as a mate.

The next day Mura and the minotaurs defeated: 2 stone puddings, 5 heucuvas, a patch of brown mold, 3 sea hags, an ogre, 2 merrow, a werewolf, 4 rock monsters, 18 Malar cultists, 7 Malar clerics, 2 spitting snakes, the Malar high priestess, 16 patrol priests, an owlbear, 2 deatholds, a water elemental, a stone golem, a marid, 6 ghosts, and 8 ogres; only Mura and the minotaur champion Burl survived. Along the way they picked up the sentient sword Tearulai.

“Trobriand’s Graveyard” - A portal took Mura and Burl to Trobriand’s Graveyard. They were overwhelmed by metalfolk, taken prisoner, and interrogated for hours before escaping through a secret passage (without their gear). They found a magic portal and used it…

“Murial’s Gauntlet” - Naked Nura and Burl ended up in gearing up as they defeated new foes: Murial the fighter-wizard with wraith spiders, a banshee, ghosts, zombies, and a crystal ooze; Burl died in battle. Mura barely survived. She rested and found a wall mural that teleported her home.

Elster’s Children: [Module: FRCS The Color of Ambition]
While drinking in the Yawning Portal, Mura met a group of human adventurers who told her about their adventures. They took on a Red Wizard enclave to save slave; they kileld 10 guards and 5 wizrds. Since then, they had been gaining experience by killing monsters on the first 3 levels of the Undermountain dungeons.

Elster’s Children: [Module: FRCS Green Bones]
Mura and her new drinking buddies (5 human adventurers) decided to try to slay the green dragon Azurphax and claim her treasure, but she had already been killed and was a dracolich. In their quest, they killed: 5 werewolves, a Bane cleric, 6 lizard skeles, and the dracolich; only Mura and the cleric (named Rain) survived. Unfortunately 2 medusas showed up and petrified Rain before Mura finished killing them. She took all the magic loot home.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Return to Undermountain The Dragon’s Legacy]
Mura met with Tiber to discuss family affairs; he had hired 2 dwarf cleric of Dumathoin as bodyguards. Durnan, owner of the Yawning Portal, asked the 4 of them to go investigate why so many dragon cultists had been going down the well. They agreed to the mission, killing: 3 ettin skeles, 3 young blue dragons, 3 human rogue, a young blue dracolich, 2 half-orc barbarians, 2 human fighters, a stone golem, 3 wizards, 3 blue half-dragons, and a large blue dragon. Murial turned out to still be alive and teleported in while the team was weakened, ambushing them with 10 ghouls; the ambush killed the dwarf clerics and Tiber. This time Mura held onto Murial’s dead body before it teleported away. She ended up in his rejuvenation chamber. There, she permanently killed the wizard and took his Horned Ring, his vorpal sword, his ring of fire resistance, and his spellbooks. She gave the treasure to her family and retrieved the dead bodies of Tiber and his clerics so they could be resurrected.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Mysteries of the Moonsea]
Wanting a break from Undermountain, Mura convinced Tiber and the 2 dwarf clerics to go on a monster-slayign quest in the Moonsea region. In the Melvaunt region they hired 4 human soldiers to join them. They freed some slaves by killing some evil guards. They then killed an evil dwarf wizard and his undead army, which allowed them to obtain the Hammer of Vorbyx.

In the Hillsfar region the defeated more monsters, a team of Thayan wizards, a team of Zhent assassins, 7 drow, an ice devil, 15 bearded devils, and a pit fiend. In the Mulmaster region they killed a bunch of umber hulks, a black dragon, a displacer beast, 4 stone golems, a group of Zhent spies, more devils, ogre barbarians, 2 oni, a beholder, 2 powerful assassins, a troop of Thayan wizards and guards, a bunch of elementals, Enthranos the adult blue dragon, and more devils; Tiber was the only survivor and had to get the rest of the team resurrected.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Dungeon Mag 126-128 Vampires of Waterdeep]
The team returned to Waterdeep, where they saw the Malar-worshipping vampire Dhussara publicly threaten Lord Orlpar (the drug lord); Dhussara’s 6 vampire werewolves attacked Orlpar, a bar fight ensued with Orlpar dying and the party chasing after the enemies - into the sewers (where they eventually killed the monsters and an elder black pudding). Dhusarra got away. The human wizard Helmyn Faunspiel and a death tyrant killed the team’s 4 hired fighters before the rest of the team defeated them.

Dhusarra sent the hroes notes detailing where to find , and how to defeat, her enemy Artor Morlin (another vampire, at the Dungeon of the Crypt). Tiber, Mura, and the 2 dwarf clerics didn’t trust Dhussar, but went after Artor anyway; they defeated: 12 gargoyles, a green half-dragon/ettin barbarian, 2 cryptkeepers, 7 mimics, a helmed horror, 4 mindcrawlers, the wizard Galguth and his shield guardian, a rakshasa assassin, a dire tiger, a large construct, an imp, and a vampire doppleganger.

On the trail of Artor Morlin, the group discovered a passage deep into Undermountain. They defeated: 2 portal drakes, a blood fiend, a vampiric gibbering mouther, a vampire mindflayer, 4 ghosts, a vampire cleric of Umberlee, 6 merfolk vampire spawn, 2 devourers a vampire medusa assassin, a nightmare, Artor Morlin, 3 phase spiders, and Dhusarra.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Cormyr the Tearing of the Weave]
Concerned about troubles in Cormyr, the Mystra cleric Turaster Dranik asked Tiber to bring the team to come investigate. After arriving, they discovered the new temple to Mystra was actually a front for a dark purpose. The evil Lady Arthus sent a team of assassins after the group; Mura was magically dominated and the 2 dwarves were killed. Tiber, invisible, escaped and followed the mind-controlled Mura into the swamp. As the swamp keep, Tiber discovered Shar was the true villain. He saved Mura and they journeyed to the Plane of Shadow (after defeating some lizardfolk and evil Shar worshippers). They had to kill shadow elementals, a gorgon, and Despayr the black dragon.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Skullport]
After returning to Waterdeep Tiber and Mura heard rumors that slaves were being traded through Skullport (beneath Undermountain); they paid some thieves to sneak them in. They hired Xanathar the beholder to ambush and kill the slaver leaders, but Xanathar turned on them and they had to kill him too. Tiber decided to polymorph into a beholder and replace Xanathar (thinking the best way to stop the most evil was to pretend to be the underworld boss).

Mura effectively retired from adventuring by setting up base in the Yawning Portal and recruiting other people to be Gold Company and actually going on the adventures. The new Gold Company team consisted of Tamsil the human fighter (Durnan’s daughter/Augin’s widow) and her friends. They defeated goblins, orcs, and thieves in Undermountain before proceeding to the Crypt of Yeldoon, Belkram’s Fall, the Maze, and a runestone chamber (that they destroyed). They killed more goblins, a metalmaster, carytid columns, mimics, darkmantles, flameskulls, a swarm of beholderkin, grells, flaming sphere, chokers, oozes, spiders, gnolls, ogres, shadows, helmed horrors, evil dwarves, drow warriors, spores, vampires, garogyles, elementals, minotaurs, a drow priestess, and Xedac (with his ghouls and ghasts); Tamsil and several of her companions were killed. She was reincarnated as a half-elf.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Shadowdale The Scouring of the Land]
Tamsil and her crew heard about the Zhentarim forces defeating Elminster and invading the Dalelands. They decided to help free the people and went to Shadowdale. To prove themselves and convince the people to rise up, they had to defeat: 2 teams of evil mercenaries, a skeletal red dragon, the guards at Castle Krag, hell hounds, shadow mastiffs, some evil wizards, Malathon the Bane cleric, a dread wraith, basilisks, gargoyles, drow warriors, a drow warmage, acolytes of Shar, Orielen the Knight of Shar, Urduthar the Shar cleric, a necromancer, Esvele Greycastle the Shar cleric, Alokkair the lich, Shadowfang the dragon, mummies, and Qiltox the beholder. The people rose up in rebellian and helped Tamsil’s team liberate the Dalelands. Azalar Falconhand was installed as the new Lord of Shadowdale. Tamsil ended up with the Warblade.

Elster’s Children: [Module: Anauroch the Empire of Shade]
Following the leads to continue the effort against Shar’s forces, Tamsil’s team went to Windsong Tower in Myth Drannor and found out the Shadovars recently stole a set of Nether Scrolls. They sought out the crypt of Augothra the Mad, only to find out she wasn’t dead - but instead a prisoner. That led them to search for the Terraseer in the desert, who ended up also being a prisoner. From there, they had to get an artifact to stop the Shadovar. Along the way, they defeated: shades, werewolves, nighthaunts, dead wraiths, Darcassan, Bralanis, fiends, a dragon, golems, giants, wights, mummies, a death tyrant, more beholders, an army of yuan-ti, Hadrune the wizard, and Delethyros the shadow dragon; most of the team was killed along the way.

Elster’s Children: [Inspired by the Video Game Neverwinter Nights: Infinite Dungeons]
Tamsil’s team joined with Mura and Tiber to search Undermountain and defeat the rumored 7 remaining “bosses” - Lord Antoine the wereboar, Hagotha the cloud giant hag, Maggris the giant insect queen, G’Zhorb the ancient beholder tyrant, Masterius the lich, Harat the demon, and Halaster the Mad Mage. In the end, only Tamsil and Tiber survived. Tiber went back to pretending to be Xanathar so he could save as many people in Skullport as possible. Tamseil told her father Durnan she felt she was ready to take over running the Yawning Portal Inn and he agreed it was time.

1380 DR / 600 CY, Month 1, Day 1
Bogwalkers Gen 2: [WGM1 Border Watch & WGQ1 Patriots]
King Elster Aben (leader of Furyondy) and his wife (the Fire Genasi daughter of Kanith) had not yet produced an heir to the throne. King Aben I gathered a group (including Gulnarin, Tenser Jr, Grauk’s 6 Half-Dragon sons, the male Fire Genasi twin, Macer’s 4 Red Dragonborn girls, and Lilith the Drow with her mother) and asked for their support. He explained that his kingdom needed money and help with defense against the forces of Iuz; apparently the evil forces supporting Iuz were engaging in small attacks, claiming to be independent “monsters and mercenaries” instead of operating in open warfare. He said he’d meet with them individually or in small groups to try to divide them into different teams to deal with different issues/missions. King Aben I said he feared spies of Iuz were around and he needed people he could trust to do these missions.

One of the teams put together that met privately with King Aben I was: Arashk Bogwalker the Green Half-Dragon/Lizardfolk Druid, Kune the intelligent Snake, Grank Bogwalker the Mixed Green-Black Half-Dragon Sorcerer, and Maxy Macer the Red Dragonborn Fighter. They accepted the mission to go check on some border villages, pick up the Royal Herald Arnulth, deliver supplies to Fort Belvor, and deal with the problematic noble family at Tegel Manor.

On the way to the villages, the group encountered 10 goblins and 8 wolves that they had to kill in order to save a group of halfling clerics of Ehlonna. Maxy Macer was killed by the monsters. One of the Halflings, Ira Sylni, joined the group to get vengeance against Iuz’s forces that had ordered the monsters and mercenaries to attack. They then progressed to the farming villages, where they found 4 Hobgoblins and a Tiefling Priest attacking the civilians there. The Elf Ranger Ninala helped them take out the enemies and decided to join with them. The villagers thanked them for their help and said they would rename their village Bogwalker when the team donated their 1,000 gp to repair the village. They picked up the Royal Herald Arnulth and continued on, to Fort Belvor.

They had to go to a group of druids to reincarnate Ira (she came back as a Lightfoot Halfling instead of a Stout Halfling). At Fort Belvor, the group met Captain Rild with his 20 troops (only 5 of which were experienced adventurers). Arashk’s team helped defend the fort from: 60 Hellish Satyrs, 1 Salamander, 6 Firesnakes, and 1 Yugoloth-Nycaloth.

Bogwalkers Gen 2: [Tegel Manor & Caverns of Thracia]
Arashk, his snake Kune, his brother Grank, and his friend Ira said goodbye to their friends at Fort Belvor before they took off to deal with Tegel Manor and explore the ruins beneath it. At Tegel Manor, they found a strange fun-house style mirror maze with other traps and enemies that they had to kill: 1 spectre-poltergeist butler, 8 skeletons, 1 Thanatos priest, 4 guards, and 2 scarecrows. They rested before proceeding down to explore the ruins beneath the manor.

Below Tegel Manor they explored the levels, dealt with the trap, got some loot, and had to kill: 16 kuo-toas, 2 minotaur skeletons, a carrion crawler, 2 kuo-toa whips, 2 dryads, a harpy, the minotaur king-mage, the minotaur queen-priest, and 4 minotaur royal guards; Arashk had convinced the Minotaur king to fight him one on one, but the other enemies interfered when their leader went down unconscious.

They were able to bring a ghost-woman back to life who was one of the true owners of the manor (before it had been taken over by evil people). They also rescued a bunch of human slaves and brought them back to Fort Belvor, where they would be safe.

The underground magical garden had a teleport circle that the group was interested in so they went back. With Lady Tegel’s permission, they decided to use the portal to go explore the “Home Lands” (which is what the portal was labeled as). Thus Arashk, Kune, Grank, and Ira were off on a new magical adventure, to an unknown location…

Shieldbreakers Gen 2: [N5 Illefarn; AC3 Princess Arelina; AC8 Rusak]
On Oerth, during King Elster Aben I’s meeting with his close friends and allies, he brought in Lilith (the drow daughter of Esposach) and her mother for a special meeting. He explained that Tenser Jr. was willing to take them to the world known as Toril (where Lilith’s mother could meet up with like-minded drow). Unfortunately the drow lived underground and were shunned by normal society. Since Lilith wanted to explore and adventure, they had Spugnoir magically transform her into a human. As payment for all of this, King Aben simply asked that they send back 10% of whatever wealth they accumulated each month on this other world.

Tenser Jr. brought them through a magical portal, to a noble home he had purchased in Waterdeep. He explained that Lilith’s mother would be escaping in the darkness of nighttime and that this location was to be kept a secret, but would be where the money should be sent each month. Lilith was excited to adventure, said goodbye to her mother, and went off to the Yawning Portal in hopes of joining an adventuring group.

Lilith quickly befriended The Shieldbreakers, a young group of adventurers (Brother Binford the prissy human war cleric of Tyr, Kelg “Killer” Barrelgut the brave dwarf fighter, Lady Glossimir the noble elf warmage), and an older human paladin of Bahamut named Sir Brock Dragonbane. She learned the group prided themselves on maintaining the good reputation of The Shieldbreakers.
They accepted a mission from Duke Pwyll Greatshout Daggerford to rescue his sister, her two servants, and the kidnapped Princess Arelina. To accomplish those goals the group quickly rode out of town for several days to the swampland near Daggerford, where they fought and killed: 2 death dogs, a giant octopus, a yuan-ti pureblood, 14 zombies, 4 lizardfolk with a shaman, 2 human spies and a knight (Baron Agwain), 2 orogs with 6 orcs (with the help of “Song” the “Elf”), 2 human guards with Rusak the Mage (who got away and then attacked them the next morning, when they finished him off). Unfortunately, during the battles Sir Brock was killed. “Song” the “Elf” gave them a writ from King Melandrach of the Wood Elves to clear our the Stonehell Prison Dungeon and receive a reward of 50,000 gp. After rescuing the damsel in distress, the group returned them to Daggerford for their reward. They were greatly honored.

Shieldbreakers Gen 2: [Barrowmaze Complete]
During their time in Daggerford, the Shieldbreakers learned that Princess Arelina was so impressed by Duke Daggerford by sending the group to rescue her that she declared her love for him. Their engagement meant that an alliance would be possible to unite the “kingdom” of her father (which was really down to just a keep and village because of problems in the past related to the swamp and Stonehell Prison Dungeon). This also meant that Duke Daggerford’s sister could pursue her desired romance with one of the commoner guards (because pressure wouldn’t be put on her to continue the noble family line).

The group had also spent their time recruiting a new member; in doing so, they upset Lanwise the gnome rogue, who wasn’t allowed to join them. Instead, they chose Trimly the human thief (they also hired Omo the human fighter to guard their new wagon). Lilith had become the default leader at this point and was heavily flirting with the courageous and gruff Kelg the dwarf.

On their way out to deal with the barrowmounds and Stonehell prison dungeon in the swamps, the group was ambushed by Lanwise the Gnome’s recruited mercenary party. They fought and killed 2 members of the 5-person rival adventuring party, but took the other 3 prisoner (which included Lanwise) and returned to Daggerford where they handed them over to the guards for official justice. The guards said that with their hero status they could influence the decision of the Duke when it came to sentencing these mercenaries, but Lilith said she just wanted justice.

The next day, when the group finally got to the swamps, they saw and avoided dinosaurs. They split the party with Lilth and Kelg going to get info from the lizardfolk; they found out about an old dirt road that needed to be cleared of debris/overgrowth that would lead them to the borrowmounds. The group joined back together and spent a good deal of time clearing the road (so they could bring their wagon with them).

The leader of the lizardolk showed up and negotiated a payment of 100 gp a month for being in their territory and warned them that anyone else who came through would be killed for trespassing through the swamps of the Redeye Tribe of Lizardfolk. The group went down and killed the monsters in the first borrowmound: 1 mummy and a ochre jelly ooze. They then needed to rest.

Shieldbreakers Gen 2: [Continuing: Barrowmaze Complete]
The Shieldbreakers continued clearing out barrowmounds in the swamplands near Daggerford and Helix. They killed 3 zombies, 7 skeletons, 11 giant rats, 4 shadows, and 1 undead giant spider. During that delve, Lilith made a deal with a bearded devil statue to get info about how she could turn into a Dwarf (because she had fallen in love with Kelg and wanted to make him happy). She gave the appropriate donation and the bearded devil told her a code-phrase to use to temporarily mind-control the wizard in the village of Helix so that he would use his wish scroll to grant her request.

Lilith and Kelg went down to the fork in the road, to the territory of the 2nd black dragon of the swamp, to his main base. They spoke with the black half-dragon and kobolds until “Song” the “Elf” showed up, revealing that he was the black dragon, but the Royal Writ from King Melandrach was authentic. Lilith realized “Song” was just using them to clear out the monsters in the underground area, but she still wanted to complete the mission. “Song” sent a kobold with them when they left.

The group needed to rest and travel to Helix, which was closer than Daggerford – though, unfortunately across the wide river (near the ocean/coast) and the bridge had collapsed years ago. Lilith told the others to stay with the wagon and went on, alone, to Helix. She swam across the river and made it there just fine.

In Helix, Lilith met some strange characters. The local people seemed somewhat sad that their village barely got any visitors or business these days. The locals explained that the king lived in Ironguard Keep, just a ways down the road. Before leaving the village, Lilith befriended the dwarf blacksmith Gurn and visited with the somewhat crazy wizard. She used the code-phrase and convinced the wizard to wish her into being a dwarf.

Lilith proceeded to Ironguard Keep. Just outside of its walls, she found the teenage prince and his 2 guards. Prince Ironguard was upset about the engagement of his sister to Duke Daggerford because that meant the “kingdom” (the keep and Helix) would become a part of Daggerford and ruled by the duke there; thus Prince Ironguard would never be able to grow up and rule the place as he always imagined he would.

When Lilith went to meet with King Ironguard, Prince Ironguard interrupted; since Lilith was talking about Stonehell prison dungeons and clearing it out, Prince Ironguard asked his father if he cleared the place out and thus cleansed the family of its disgrace, if his father would allow him to be king instead of giving the territory to Duke Daggerford with the wedding of his sister. King Ironguard gave his son a month.

Prince Ironguard asked to join the Shieldbreakers, but Lilith said no. Instead, he ended up hiring some mercenaries. Lilith went back to her group and showed them her new body, Kelg was delighted and declared that he would marry her (when she made him jealous talking about Gurn). The group decided to return to Daggerford for a quick wedding between Lilith and Kelg, which was having the Mid-Winter festival and would already be celebrating anyway.

Duke Daggerford was so thrilled to see the heroic Shieldbreakers again that he agreed to work their wedding into the festival activities. Lilith discovered what looked like a plot by Prince Ironguard to have his mercenaries assassinate Duke Daggerford and put a stop to it by making them stay in the group’s room at the inn; she didn’t have any hard evidence that could be used to actually arrest them and realized Prince Ironguard would use his power to sidestep any charges.

They had a wonderful festival day and wedding, with Lilith and Kelg going back to Omo’s place to be alone for their wedding night (where, unknown to them, Lilith became pregnant with twins). Unfortunately, Prince Ironguard was allowed to stay at Daggerford Keep with his sister and her group. During the night someone assassinated Duke Daggerford by slitting his throat. Princess Arelina was devastated; her fiancĂ© was dead before they could get married (which would mean that her family’s lands would remain politically separate). Duke Daggerford’s sister had to take command of the city and was already engaged to the commoner guard she loved, which also complicated royal politics.

The Shieldbreakers confronted the 3 mercenaries Prince Ironguard had hired, “The Boon Companions” and their 5 retainers, which resulted in a huge battle in the Daggerford stables. Many witnesses saw the Shieldbreakers defend themselves, killing all of the mercenaries and their companions.

The group realized they should clear out of the town for a while to let things settle down. They hired Omo’s brother Eltis to join him and the Black Kobold as wagon guards. They then headed back into the swamp to continue clearing out the borrowmounds and the Stonehell Prison Dungeon.

Shieldbreakers Gen 2: [More: Barrowmaze Complete]
The Shieldbreakers (Lilith, Kelg, Lady Glossimer, Brother Binford, Trimly Rolic, the blackscale kobold, Omo, and Eltis) were back in the swamps near Daggerford. They fought and killed: 2 giant toads, 12 giant crabs, and 6 bugbear pirates with a bugbear shaman leader. They rested. They went down into a cave with an ant colony and had to fight them: 6 giant ants, a super ant, and an ant queen (cleric). They let the queen and 3 of her men live. They rested.

They sent back the wagon with Omo and Eltis with some loot (to Daggerford); The kobold stayed with the horses and carriage. The rest of the group went into the ant colony, into the magic mural island (via touch). On the island (which was its own demi-plane) was the Human barbarian Tharrr, fighting 4 owlbears. The group helped kill the owlbears and found out Tharr had killed a bunch of Orcus clerics and been turned into a Vampire. They rested, during which the barbarian’s vampiric transformation was complete.

They travelled with Tharr to go challenge Ossithrax, his half-dragon son, his 4 lizardfolk guards, and his 6 kobolds. Tharr’s vampire abilities greatly helped in the battle, keeping Ossithrax occupied for most of the time. Lilith convinced 3 of the kobolds to run outside and wait to join their team. They had to kill the rest of the minions. Ossithrax killed Tharr and almost took out the group, but Lilith finished him off (while her companions were unconscious).

When Tharr died, he dropped a glowing magic skull that had been crafted by Rao to destroy undead (1-time use, 30 mile radius, destroy all undead). They cut off the head of Ossithrax and much of his hide/scales to take back to Daggerford. It took them days, but they made it back to the city. The group divided up in town to sell stuff and have the taxidermist mount the head of Ossithrax for them.

They found out that Prince Ironguard married Lady Daggerford; he acknowledged that his father’s keep wasn’t a real kingdom, but his claim as a noble made him the best match to marry Lady Daggerford; as part of the deal, he took the Daggerford name as his new family name. A couple of days later, the group had dinner with Duke-Prince Ironguard-Daggerford, the half-elf ranger Darktreader, and Lady Daggerford – during which, Lilith made it clear that she didn’t trust Ironguard and that she would be keeping an eye on him to try to expose him as the murderer of the former Duke (while also showing them the head of Ossithrax and bragging about killing the Ancient Black Dragon).

The group used their loot to buy a tavern to turn it into a Guild Hall. They then went 3 Days back into the swamp, used the skull to destroy all of the nearby undead (240 skeletons, 250 zombies, 77 ghouls, 27 ghasts, 40 crypt knight skeletons, 22 wights, 6 wraiths, and 60 mummies), and spent the month clearing out the loot from the barrow mounds; the loot included Ossithrax’s treasure.

They returned to Daggerford to sell items and properly setup the Shieldbreakers Guild Hall. They also sent back 10% of the loot to Waterdeep, as promised, for King Elster Abin. Lilith realized she was pregnant so she decided to run the Guild Hall (and keep an eye on Prince-Duke Ironguard-Daggerford) while the rest of the team continued to adventure.

The Bone Pack: [Marklands, Lands of Iuz, Thornkeep]
At King Elster Aben’s request, Gulnarin Yarin Eyestalker (the half-gnoll barbarian) came to the meeting with the other trusted friends. When Gulnarin went in for his secret conference, his best friend offered him a secret mission: go meet up with the gambler Duke Bennel Tyneman to get experience and gain trust in the Lands of Iuz so that he can eventually get into “The City of Skulls” Dorakaa. Other people would think that Gulnarin was on another world looking for info about his mother, but he’d really be going behind enemy lines to rescue captured nobles.

Gulnarin accepted the mission and created the alias Mognyr BoneEater. Dirka Macer (the rogue daughter of Macer) agreed to go with him, using the alias Nori Flamescale. They set out on their journey, traveling on the roads toward Crockport. On the way to meet up with Duke Tyneman, Gulnarin & Dirka were ambushed by 3 svirfneblin that they had to kill. They rested and then fought 6 goblins. They rested again.

They got to Crockport to meet the gambler Duke Tyneman. The Duke offered a drow cleric named Vicfryn (“Deep Champion”) to go with them on a quest into the nearby woods to clear out a lair of goblins and get their loot (to prove themselves to Duke Tyneman). “Nori” also hired an albino tiefling fighter, who said to call him “Al” (short for Albino) to go with them and act as a guard (but not get a share of the loot). They decided to call their “evil” mercenary group “The Bone Pack.”
They followed the map into the forest, found the lair, and went underground. They killed a large ochre jelly ooze, 6 goblins and a large earth elemental. The albino tiefling died so they took his magic greatsword and magic dagger. They went and rested in the trees of the forest before going back down into the dungeon, where they fought and killed: 3 rogue goblins, a mage, a giant silver snake, an animated armor, a barbarian goblin, and a phase spider.

The Bone Pack: [Thornkeep]
The Bone Pack of: Gulnarin, Dirka Macer as Nori Flamescale, and their drow cleric continued exploring the underground ruins, realizing that it was some sort of ancient temple. They ended up fighting/killing 2 minotaur-demon skeletons, 4 tiefling thugs, a tiefling veteran, and 3 gray oozes. They realized it was a museum-style level of a Semuanya Temple (with a strange mechanical workshop) and several magical items. Among the display items was a leathery spiked egg that Gulnarin embraced and allowed to transform him into a machinefolk [warforged juggernaut]. During the process he realized this was all somehow connected to his uncle (who he didn’t even know existed before now).

The tieflings had been working for a cambion who stepped out and offered to pay the group if they went down to the next level and cleared out the undead that his tieflings had said were down there. To keep his cover, Gulnarin agreed to the deal. Once they got downstairs, the 2 basilisks petrified Dirka/Nori (with a dagger+1). They had to leave her behind, but they moved her up to the main display area. They went into a “testing chamber” where they had to fight 6 animated armor. The enemies killed the drow cleric, at which point it became a close battle that Gulnarin barely survived. Down that hall, Gulnarin found a statue/shrine to Semuanya/Mechanos. Gulnarin went up and rested.

After resting, Gulnarin was joined by the Cambion who wanted the loot from this place. Together, they fought and killed: 6 skeletons, 2 wights, a necromantic mage, and an undead wolf. They then found a bathing pool before they took on the last remaining foe, a flesh golem. They killed the monster, but then Gulnarin realized he needed to finish off the cambion.

Gulnarin, as the lone survivor, felt closely connected to Semuanya; he used his divine inspiration and religious books to become a cleric. He read through the ancient books from the library and realized the secrets of Semuanya, who was also known by a select few as Mechanos (but was secretly, somehow, his uncle from the future who had travelled into the far past and become the bullywug/lizardfolk god of survival). The texts said that the Secrets of Semuanya must not be revealed to the general public until a specific date in the future.

Gulnarin decided his goal was to find more Semuanya followers, re-sanctify this temple, and then continue with his appointed mission.

The Bone Pack: [DLC1-3]
After learning all about Semuanya/Uncle Holic: Gulnarin went searching through the forest for other followers of Semuanya. He encountered a female Lizardfolk Shaman with a Staff of Healing (named Ivory) who was being attacked by 5 gray horror-trons [that would solidify into rock and trap weapons in them when destroyed]. Gulnarin noticed 2 dwarf twin brothers camping in the woods (Grastlin the fearless wizard and Garmund the fighter) and called on them to help defend the woman. Together, they defeated the 5 gray horror-trons.

After discussing the situation with the Semuanya Temple, Ivory told Gulnarin that an ancient Semuanya temple had been taken over by followers of Orcus who were putting undead spirits into Machinefolk bodies. Ivory agreed to take the group to the local centaurs. On the way, they ended up having to destroy another 5 gray horror-trons.

The Centaurs listened to their stories and declared Gulnarin “The Chosen One” prophesied to come fix the temples. They called upon the forest’s Pegasi to fly Gulnarin with his new adventuring party to go get the blessings of the “Lord of the Forest” – a unicorn.
On the way to see the unicorn, the group saw 10 red horror-trons [that exploded into flame when destroyed] that were trying to capture a group of elves to sell into slavery to the local tieflings/cambions. Gulnarin decided to save the elves so they jumped down and destroyed the 10 red horror-trons.

When they made their way to the unicorn “Lord of the Forest,” he echoed the sentiment that Gulnarin must be the Chosen One to find the Orbs of Mechanos at the Ancient Temple of Semuanya and use them to overcome the Agents of Orcus, re-sanctify the temples, and awaken/release the “sleeping” hidden underground Machinefolk army.

Gulnarin pointed out that they needed to rest before heading out. The Unicorn let them know about the 5 friendly Semuanya-worshipping kobolds and the ghost guardian at “The Lost Temple” with a Holy Avenger somewhere inside. They rested in the Unicorn’s grove.

The Bone Pack: [Dragonlance Chronicles (DLC1-3): Part 2]
Gulnarin, Ivory, Grastlin, and Garmund travelled to the lost swamp city of K’saroth. On the way, they got to know each other better. Gulnarin learned about Grastlin’s desires to become the most powerful wizard in the world and Garmund’s bond to protect his brother. Gulnarin and Ivory both tried to teach them about Semuanya; Garmund enjoyed learning about the survival god, but Grastlin said he didn’t want to be “brainwashed” with info about non-dwarven deities.

At K’saroth’s forests, they fought and destroyed: 5 enhanced green horror-trons [with acid that ruined non-magical weapons used against them] with their boss – the huge black and green winged reinforced acid-blasting horror-tron leader. At the ruined temple, the 5 friendly kobold followers of Semuanya greeted them, had them destroy the altar to Orcus (that was hooked into a magic device to put undead spirits into machinefolk bodies), and introduced them to the guardian spirit. Since they had proven themselves worthy, the guardians gave them their reward: the Holy Avenger of Semuanya, a helm of faith, several greater healing potions, and the legendary Orbs of Mechanos.

The kobolds told them they had scouted 2 young red dragons (male Ember and female Flamestrike) nearby with their cambion riders. After coming up with a plan for the kobolds to go distract 1 of the dragons and cambions, the group went to fight the other one (who was in the forest setting it on fire to lure the elves out to be captured as slaves). In an epic contest, the team barely survived [Ivory died, 2 kobolds died, and the dwarves kept going unconscious/having to be healed] and won the day when Gulnarin used Grastlin’s crossbow to down the last dragon as she attempted to flee.

With the loot from the cambions and dragons, the team learned of the nearby Twin Slaver Towers of Iuz – where human and elf women were being held prisoner and forced to give birth to tiefling children for Iuz. After resting, Gulnarin attempted to use the Orbs of Mechanos; he succeeded in learning how to use them to re-sanctify the Temple of Semuanya at K’saroth (but he still wasn’t sure how to harness their power to release the machinefolk army stored beneath the previous Semuanya temple).

They spent a week at the temple while the 3 kobolds scouted out the slaver towers (which were just past “Skull Hill”). Their intel revealed that Iuz was not currently at the towers; it looked like the place was run by an evil cleric of Iuz, 4 tiefling thugs, and a couple of chasme demons. Gulnarin decided he and the dwarves should go rescue the slaves before returning to the previous temple; the dwarve brothers agreed.

The Bone Pack: [DLC1-3 & City of Skulls]
Semuanya/Mechanos had shown Gulnarin more info about using the orbs. Gulnarin, Grastlin, and Garmund defended themselves against 2 chasme demons on their way to Iuz’s breeding tower to rescue the slave women there. Inisde, they killed: 4 tiefling thugs, a tiefling priest, a mindflayer, and 2 intellect devourers. Not only did they save the 8 slave women, but they also found 50 children of Iuz (some of them 10 years old). They told him a fiend army was going to come attack the Velve Forest region.

One of the women suggested, since it was dangerous to travel with a large group across these lands, that they go to the nearby dwarf base at Skull Hill and ask the dwarfs to let them use their underground trade tunnels to get back to the human trade city. Gulnarin agreed it was a good idea and took them there. To convince the duergar who lived there, Gulnarin made a deal with the king; they sent the people down the tunnels and Gulnarin’s team would go with one of their warriors to retrieve the stolen Forge-Hammer of Vengeance.

With the duergar warrior assigned to help them retrieve the Forge-Hammer of Vengeance, they made their way to a drow base; during battle the duergar was killed, but they managed to rescue Tholstar and 3 captured elves; the group killed: 2 vrock demons, a drow assassin, 2 drow berserkers, a glabrezu, and a balor demon who was using the Forge-Hammer of Vengeance. Tholstar turned out to be a gold dragon paladin/wizard who felt indebted to them. They returned the artifact to the duergar with assurances that Tholstar could return to use it to craft magic weapons.

Gulnarin led his group back to the original temple of Semuanya that they had found. He used a scroll of greater restoration to de-petrify Nori Flamescale; she left to go infiltrate Iuz’s prisons to free the nobles as per their original assignment. With the Orb of Mechanos, Gulnarin re-sanctified the temple and released the machinefolk army; he taught them how to craft their own children (Mechanos blessed his machinefolk so they each could craft one offspring).

When Iuz’s forces showed up to take over Vesve Forest, Gulnarin led his army in defense of the region. His team, in their quadrant of the battle, took out: 8 orc war chiefs, 3 Iuz priests, 2 half-orc veterans, an archmage of Iuz, 2 cambions, a barlgura demon, a hezrou demon, a gladiator, a behir, 4 yeti, and a wraith. The dwarf twins died. After the battle, Gulnarin and Tholstar bonded; Tholstar could tell Gulnarin wanted a relationship so he asked Gulnarin to become a female dragonborn. They found a wizard who changed Gulnarin as per the request.

Tholstar nad Gulnarin took some down time for a year - setting up the temples with bullywug, lizardfolk, and elf followers of Semuanya. Tholstar got Gulnarin pregnant and they ended up having 2 kids: a boy (named Tholstar II) and a girl.

Mechanos sent them on a mission to retrieve the Crown of Power (which was broken into parts). Gulnarin, Tholstar, and 2 of their best machinefolk warriors went after Zui (one of the 2 primary sons of Iuz, the other being Iuz II). To get to Zui, they killed: 3 young white dragons, an adult white dragon, 10 wights, 2 wraiths, 1 death knight, and 1 iron golem. Zui fled to another base. The loot contained not only 150,000 gp and several valuable magic items, but also 37 white dragon eggs that were still 3 months away from hatching.

They tracked down Zui again and thought he was with his brother Iuz II (but it turned out to be Iuz himself, in his cambion form). They killed: a gorgon, a lich, a spirit naga, 3 sea hags, 2 female cambions, and Iuz (the son of Grazzt); remaining forces included an iron golem and a goristro demon – but they teleported out with the Crown of Power and destroyed it. That left the leadership sword behind, which was later claimed by Iuz II (who took command after his father’s death).

The Bone Pack: Gulnarin's Epilogue:
The 37 white dragon eggs hatched at the temple, with them being born as dragonborn (since Tiamat refused to bless them after they were taken by Gulnarin and Tholstar). The elves of Vesve Forest promised to properly raise the 37 white dragonborn children as agents of Semuanya. Gulnarin appointed new leaders to defend the temples and forest; they had beaten back Iuz’s forces and it would take years for Iuz II to grow into a powerful position as the leader of the fiends (there were plenty of others to challenge his authority).

Answering the call of Mechanos/Semuanya/Uncle Holic (who knew the future, since he was from the future), Gulnarin and Tholstar travelled to Toril (with their 2 dragonborn children) and setup a secret machinefolk lair under the Mere of Dead Mean (under the future location of Tinker Town). They were instructed to wait until the proper time to reveal themselves to the people of Tinker Town and offer themselves to help protect the town/region.
