JFP's Justice League Campaign
Our "Justice League" adventures continued. TR was brought back to life and there was some confusion because his paladin had been a follower of Kelemvor but had spent his life accidentally referring to him as Kelevmor. Oops. In the end, I he switched to worshipping Tyr. We were also joined by more players as JL, LH, LH's sister, and MR sometimes joined us.
*Many of the characters got involved in a tournament and the group ended up travelling to the world of the Dark Sun Campaign. [I missed several of these adventures because my retail job kept scheduling me during our RPG time so I missed out on some of the plot details, but I was there when LH made a new character that could swap his mind/soul into other people's bodies (and there was some exception that if his body was destroyed while his mind/soul was out of it then it would be stuck in the new body). He had his sister come along as a super strong half-giant character and it was all just a setup for him to put his character's mind/soul into the super strong body and then stay in it. Our DM was not amused.]
*[Over the years, in looking back at all of our notes from playing, I have developed a theory - since our DM wouldn't tell us at the end of the campaign - that the evil order we were dealing with the entire time might have been the one called "The Order" from the Dark Sun setting]
*Eventually the team made it back to Toril and explored different areas. TR and Hydrax were back, but working for the same evil order DL had been working for. In fact, most of the group had gone evil at this point for some reason and it really annoyed Merry (who didn't want to serve evil, but wanted to stay with his friends and eventually find a way to make them stop being evil).
*AJ made a new character [maybe Dreylis?] and had a side mission with BW's character and some of the others to fight some mummies and get some treasure.
*The team was on a mission searching caves/caverns and saw a tarrasque.
*The group, with AJ's "farmer" found the sleeping tarrasque out in the mountain.
*The team had made an enemy of a black dragon.
*Everyone but PM and Merry were killed so they decided to go to Nesme, where Merry started up a new temple and tried to spread the word of Waukeen.
*[The other players made new characters; LH started his long-term playing of Zahn and LV Daggin]
*Some of the new characters tried to execute Merry, but the others saved him.
*The team took on a lich, traveled around, and killed off their enemy Zergal.
*A group of elementalist martial artists took down the group (killing off everyone but Merry and PM); Merry sacrificed himself to save PM, who finished off the last enemy. She got the team resurrected.
*The group battled liches and developed their keep in Archendale.
*The team also allied with Kelsarin (who was part of a desert school).
*PM and Merry got engaged.
*The leprechaun that the group had captured in the past (after he had taken their gear) got revenge by making everyone think that PM and TR had slept together; Merry got drunk, called off the engagement, and accidentally caused PM and TR to actually develop a relationship with each other.
*One night the mists from the Domains of Dread pulled Merry back into them. The rest of the group just assumed he left because he was jealous of PM and TR's relationship.
*[AJ made a character and joined Merry in the Domains of Dread for an adventure and I played a solo Merry adventure in the Domains of Dread, but he was clearly trapped there.]
Side Note: Our DM told me he was annoyed with my character Merry and wanted me to play something new/different. That was why he took my character away. We worked together to create a new character for me, an elf martial artist/psionicist name Kamai Ual (whose backstory made him a childhood friend of PM).
For source material, I assumed our DM used:
Dark Sun campaign and module books, Al-Quadim campaign and module books, and - who knows what else?
